OCIC - Order of Christian Initiation for Children

The OCIC (formerly known as RCIC) is for:

  • Children (7-17 years old) preparing for baptism
  • Baptized children (7-17 years old) in a Christian denomination preparing to become Catholic
  • Baptized Catholic children (7-17 years old) in need of their First Holy Communion and are at least 2 years behind in catechetical preparation


If you are interested, submit the completed OCIC Inquiry Form to the parish office or via email to Mary Jo Chronis


In addition to attending the OCIC sessions with at least one parent/guardian, the children (7-17 years old) must also be registered for their grade level faith formation class.
